Toppesfield house is ideally located for exploring Cornwall and South Devon. Spend the day driving South and take in the stunning locations such as Port Isaac (Famous for Doc Martin), Padstow, Tintagel, Wadebridge, Truro, St Ives and many many more in between.
Drive North and you have the beautiful Clovelly, Hartland, Point, Appledore, Instow and the Island of Lundy to name a few and of course not forgetting the miles and miles of rugged coastline and stunning beaches.
If walking is your idea of bliss, you will not be disappointed. The SWCP has some stunning walks along the cliff tops offering a view like no other, but there really is something for everyone. Whether it be golf, horseback riding, cycling, surfing, coasteering or visiting houses and gardens that you are interested in, look no further – Cornwall has them all! Come and see for yourself!
About your hosts
Both Karen and Paul have had many years experience in ‘high end’ customer care, having both worked in London Casinos including The Rendezvous Hilton Park Lane, The Ritz and Les Ambassadeurs, and Paul having worked in the Seychelles and for The Mauritian Government as General Manager running the 9 Casinos on the island.
Karen’s father was Head Chef at The Ritz Casino and from whom she learnt some of her cooking skills, and Paul’s son Chris was the Manager of Sheffield United Football Club but is now Manager for Middlesborough F.C.
Karen & Paul previously ran a 4Star Gold B&B in Norfolk and were the first in the area to be awarded the Breakfast Award which saw them on local Norfolk radio and in the Eastern Daily Press newspaper.
They say ‘Moving to Cornwall with our daughter Rosie was an easy decision, and we haven’t looked back’!.
We thoroughly enjoy meeting new guests and getting to know them, and understand just when to be discreet but available if needed.
